After his three-year foundation training in construction law at an international commercial law firm, Carsten Wittenberg changed to the construction industry in 2004 and worked there as an in-house lawyer for around nine years.
His tasks included the review, drafting, negotiation and risk analysis of complex national and international construction contracts (in particular PPP), legal advice throughout the construction phase of large road, rail and airport projects incl. claim and anti-claim management, as well as advising construction groups on procurement-related issues. Carsten Wittenberg has been a partner at CLP Rechtsanwälte since 2012.
Carsten Wittenberg was an associate lecturer in procurement law at the Frankfurt/Main University of Applied Sciences. He is a managing director of the CLP Akademie and a speaker at a range of seminars and (in-house) training courses. He also publishes in the field of procurement and construction law.
